<p>The course offers an in-depth introduction to the core principles of <em>Neijing Classical Acupuncture</em>. It is designed to give the practicing acupuncturist a solid introduction to the basic theories and practice of Neijing-style classical acupuncture. The course is taught entirely through original translations of classical source material that will be provided by the instructor. The class consists of six weekend meetings, that take place from January to October, 2012.</p>

The curriculum for this class has been constructed around the examination of classical ‘seed’ concepts, with which a successful understanding of classical medicine may be established. At the conclusion of this course, the participant should be familiar with the core concepts of classical acupuncture as outlined within the Huangdi Neijing. This course is a pre-requisite for the Neijing Advanced Clinical Seminars.</p>
<p>This course is appropriate for licensed acupuncturists, physician acupuncturists, teachers and acupuncture students. NCCAOM Professional Activity Credits is given for this class.</p>
