Dr. Neal is currently involved in translating sections of the Leijing 類經 by the Ming dynasty physician Zhang Jing Yue 張景岳. The Leijing or ‘Classic of Categories’ remains one of the primary historical commentaries on the Huangdi Neijing.

Dr. Neal is translating the sections that discuss the theories of the Wuyun Liuqi 五運六氣, or the ‘Five Celestial Movements and Six Earthly Qi’. These theories describe the complex energetic interactions that exist between heaven and earth, and detail their influence in health and illness. This book is scheduled for publication through the Chinese Medicine Database in the spring/summer of 2012.
