Neijing Classical Acupuncture Text Series

The Neijing Classical Acupuncture Texts Series is a long-term translation, research and writing project that investigates the central acupuncture themes of the Huangdi Neijing Suwen 黃帝內經素問 and Huangdi Neijing Lingshu 黃帝內經靈樞. The overall goal of the project is to create standardized reference materials of the medical classics for use by students and training programs.

These volumes will be published by Neijing Classical Press in conjunction with Prima Voce Press. These publishing houses specialize in the translation of classical Chinese medical texts and other important clinical handbooks.

Each volume of this series follows a general outline:

  • Part I – General introduction and historical background.
  • Part II – Detailed text translations from the Huangdi Neijing Suwen and Huangdi Neijing Lingshu related to central themes of the respective volume, and including a commentary.
  • Part III – Comprehensive appendix, glossary and indecies.
